Anasazi recently heard from an alumni mom requesting financial help to send a second child. She wrote the heart-wrenching note below for anyone who may be interested.

Thank you for considering helping us afford the Anasazi program for our McKenna! You would fall in love with her if you could meet her. She is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She has given our family so much joy.

McKenna is experiencing an inner struggle to process her father’s suicide. She has entertained thoughts of committing suicide herself, and she wrote in her journal wanting to die so she can see him again. As her mother I am devastated, even more so after learning McKenna overdosed on melatonin, thinking it would take her life like sleeping pills would. Anasazi helped McKenna’s older brother Nathan substantially. He has done a complete 180 turnaround. So when McKenna’s struggle came to light, I immediately reached out again to help my priceless child.
