Dad Joe believes Anasazi can help son Joey find his way. He sent the following request for additional financial support (to augment a scholarship from Anasazi’s annual fund).
Joey is a kind, funny, and smart 16-year-old boy. He has struggled with depression and substance abuse while growing up in New Jersey. Most recently, he was hospitalized for taking Xanax and injuring himself, and his mother sent him to live with me in Arizona. I am trying to get him on a drug/marijuana-free path.
I moved here three years ago after losing my New Jersey business, and I currently work at a grocery store. Unfortunately funds are limited. My Arizona family recommended Anasazi, based on the positive experiences of friends. Joey and I are also very impressed, and he would love to attend if there is any way to afford it. He loves nature and exploring and already visited the office for a lesson in primitive fire-making. Joey was full of awe, excitement, and pride after making his first fire!
I believe this program would be the best chance at putting him on a good path and would truly appreciate any help! Thank you for your consideration!
