The Great Scholarship Harvest
Help Anasazi build a scholarship fund that distributes $2.5 million yearly to at least 100 financially challenged families hoping to save a struggling child.
Anasazi is shifting its funding model and redoubling its efforts to accommodate an increasing need for nonprofit treatment options, as for-profit providers close in the wake of cost concerns and negative publicity caused by unethical and abusive programs. The publicity has created a general uneasiness about wilderness and residential therapy, so parents are understandably hesitant and often unable to find good, affordable options. Anasazi’s uniquely inspiring and charitable approach is needed now more than ever.
Increasing visibility while growing Anasazi’s scholarship fund (from $800,000 to $2.5 million) requires a Herculean level of engagement with alumni, friends, and donors. In this spirit, we invite you to join us in this work and help sustain Anasazi for years to come.
There are numerous ways you can help:
- Plant the seeds to change another’s life…SPONSOR a YoungWalker’s entire experience or part of a stay.
- $33,000 for 49 days
- $4,700 for a week
- $675 for a day
- Boost the bounty. Consider a CHALLENGE grant to encourage others to get involved.
- Set the table…instead of purchasing a gala table, DONATE $2,500 to cover a scholarship recipient’s food and outfitting expenses.
- CREATE roots of renewal via a recurring monthly gift.
- Join the barn-raising…CONNECT Anasazi with foundations or major donors who can help underwrite Anasazi’s work and/or endow scholarships.
- Be like the plants and SERVE OTHERS this Giving Tuesday and throughout the holiday season. Consider purchasing a cool t-shirt (coming soon) to promote the idea as well as Anasazi’s mission.
- ADVOCATE for Anasazi’s work. Post your thoughts online or in response to questions from others. Rate our work on Google, Facebook, or Yelp. Refer a friend or family member. Introduce Anasazi to local therapists or potential partners.
